The Cage

Slowly Very slowly Fall a white feather Against the weight of earth On the ground covered in dirt It lands there To be seen By the blue eyes To be hold By a bare hand . Who to blame? Between the steels of confinement There is a lonely bird First day, sounds of flapping Heard everywhere in the huge cage Days passed by Even wings are still there But they were erased From the memories Of the lonely bird. They gave it Food, water Freedom ? They forgot to give it Or did the black cloth of greediness Tied up their both eyes ? Set me free Set me free The lonely bird couldn't say Sometimes it rains Sometimes it shines Yet everywhen it's like a strand of string Chain up all it's vigour All it could do Watching other wings Being outspread wide In the hurricane New desire born In the lonely bird Every evenfall,it prays And prays to its' Creator Beg for freedom It will be your final moment Once you step out The Creator said I want peacefulness filled up In my remaining days It replied A day lives with peacefulness The way too greater Than a thousand days Live with endless sorrowness One unexpected day A long craved wish To be granted To the lonely bird The steel cage did eat all it's hope Now, the black steel engulfed In orange, red, brown rust Waiting to be wear down Will the lonely bird Fly free from It's trap With the last breath To fly high High till the unreachable sky Like others?
