The burden of our past, now haunts us no longer for we’ve lowered the mast, having become stronger, knowing storms will not last. The burden of our past, appears to us in dreams ~ tranquil heart’s not aghast, as memory so streams, since the die of love’s cast. The burden of our past, has now been left behind ~ our eyes are not downcast, soul’s free from ego’s bind; to truth heart holds on fast. The burden of our past, replays our life thus far played out in the void vast. God’s grace has healed each scar; His grace is our repast. 04-May-2022
