Hi Carolyn, nice Haiku on Hitchcock's birds. Have seen the movie a certain times!! Sometimes birds become aggressive if we come too close to their young. Coming back to my Voices of the Earth, the first version (Jiddish) is the language spoken by Eastern European Jews and has much common with medieval German and Hebrew words. The second version is German. So if we listen carefully to Jiddish, we can understand it (at least most of it)..Thank you for your comments...Love, Gert

Those darn crows! (...or am I thinking of Edgar Allen Poe's raven? I'm afraid I'm showing my ignorance!) Oh well. Self revealed. Receivied your comment about my pollen footle while I was reading this nice haiku. (We really do think alike.) I hope I didn't steel your thunder with the footle.
