The Birdie and the Crocodile
The birdie and the crocodile,
My muse threw out and up.
But what if the birdie was a cardinal?
And could the crocodile be a pup?
The birdie and the toothbrush,
My muse said with no teeth.
I smiled at the feeling that
She was irritated beyond belief.
The birdie and the crocodile,
My muse Trixie insisted again.
This time she was stern with me,
So of course, I let her win.
Besides Trixie is a formidable friend
And I do not ever want her to be a foe.
She is inside my head hourly,
And she will never let me go.
The birdie and the malamute
I say, just to see who will win.
As you can see by the title of this
It is best to just let Trixie win.
