What a fantastic Monoku, David, deep and very inspirational, honestly I read many times to grasp the philosophy behind it. counting the number of time that the level of the sea regularly rises and falls during the day is like counting the number of people we miss every day. Have a blessed weekend

Heya Lasaad, and thank you for such kind comments, it is indeed a philosophical write, probably more than I know, I am trying to make sense of friends and family that have passed, using childhood memories of trips we made to the seaside together, our disappointment if the tide was way out, equaled and surpassed now with my disillusionment of loosing them, to death, cheers David

Heya Jan, I can’t see the sea from my house, but could drive there in ten minutes, if traffic is light, best beaches are a bit further afield, I was just reminiscing about trips to the seaside we made as kids, never knowing if the tide would be in, or a mile out, and as some of them have passed now relatively young, it’s mostly trips to their funerals, a word play with some truth, cheers David
