Sorry i didn't call tonight. More bad news from today's doctor visit, but at least I don't have glaucoma. We do need to talk, dear LNC. Hope you're working on a sonnet for Sara's contest. Barbara,I LOVE S.F. This is wonderful. I keep forgetting. What part of CA are you in? It's not right there in SF , is it? I lived in Hayward for five years and we left right after the time of the earthquake!

Gosh, it must have been beautiful, dear LNC. When I visited San Francisco, I remember it being quite windy (over Labor Day) and a bit chilly. The white caps were dancing on the boat ride to Alcatraz. Great description of a fabulous place. Love, Carolyn
