The Battle of Thick and Thin

What causes fat disappearance?
Diets that take perserverance
But wallet's too thin
Love those clothes from a bin
At stores that sell with a clearance

Andrea, her passing is sad. Nice that she is immortalized for a time here. I have to go read some of hers. As you know and appreciate, it is a lot of work and time to read other people's work and try to take it all in. I know you spend a lot of time here writing comments and responding to people, and I have a lot of respect for you and what you do. You are part of the heart and soul of this place.

gosh , even way back here I see myself commenting. Is there nothing I have not read? haha. I probably commented on all your limericks except those in which I did not like your political views. You are such a nice person, Duke, the way you respond back to everyone and do not seem to mind differences of opinions.

You're very kind Andrea, disagreements are healthy and we all come from different experiences and backgrounds that shape the way we look at things. I've noticed that many don't want to change their opinions. I will admit that I'm wrong when the facts and situations indicate that is so. I am also not afraid to say that the party I support has made some terrible mistakes. Those errors and some by the opposition have put us all in a terrible place. I think we should have a fair society and that there should not be such drastic differences between the people at the top and the rest of us.

Oh yes the clearance rack , clothes, shoes, and books. funny how a person buys things, leaves them in closet with tags on, and never wears them . thank you for reading "family hair ;}

well, I can't recall which limerick had the clapper reference. But it's coming back to me now I DO remember that clapper thing!!! To help you find keys or turn on lights, right?

haha, yes, we spend so much on the dang "fresh" foods when we have to diet! But some of the clearance clothes can look pretty hot when one's body is thinner. Thanks for your really sweet comment today. LUv, Andrea and good luck in this contest.
