The Apple Doesn'T Fall Far From the Tree
There grew an apple family named red
Who all lived on their family spread
The dad was a prolific producer
Their mom a sweet sexy seducer
When they were born their mother left home
Left them to grow on their own
So they all hung around with their dad
Did their best not to sour or go bad
Now the old man was a deep rooted guy
Not once did he pout or cry
He stood up proud and tall
Took care not to let them fall
Provided a canopy leafy green
Health food like chlorophyll ice cream
They took dancing lessons from the wind
Had beetles and birds for friends
He taught them how to deal with the rain
Grow thick red skin for sunburn pain
Everything he knew about the weather
Even warned them about pestilence."Don't ever!"
He told them try not to go to seed
Be sweet and in life you'll succeed
Then one day they each started to leave
The apple doesn't fall far from the tree
