The Anniversary V

On pain's bed, after the operation, my body rests* Motionless the view out of the window tries to enjoy While my soul the opportunity of peace grasps to think How the gifts the spirit provides, could I better employ! © Demetrios Trifiatis 19 October 2022 * Last year, on the 19th of October, after a fall a large Hematoma was created in my brain. The doctors didn't think I could survive, or even if I managed to survive, still were not certain I could walk or talk. However, a young doctor, named Christos Koutsarnakis, who believes in God, performed an extensive Craniotomy that lasted for four hours. His faith was rewarded! I was saved and, thank God I have no problems with my walk or my speech. I thank the Lord and the good doctor! God bless him and God bless my wife who saved my life by taking me to the hospital while unconscious, plus all of you who have prayed for me!
