The American Flag
The American Flag
The gazebo sits near the American Flag, showing what our country stands for
All that has united us together, for these many years in our lives to the core
But, people are trying to change everything, even stomping, tearing and burning it
Pushing policies of transformation against laws that we have always seen fit
The America we have been, for some reason they do not want anymore
As they are trying to tell everyone else what to do and what living is for
They scream and yell on the streets with their own granted freedom of speech
That America has actually given them, our constitution does teach!
As they are trying to tell everyone else what to do, in these ways so extreme
Dividing our country, fighting against us like it’s a game and another team
It will not work because we patriots fight for our values and we fight to be free
Their changes will bring disaster, as we are destined to see, while we genuinely be,
Everything we are, united in circular fashion like the gazebo, we will stand strong
And this American Flag will fly through all these winds that are blowing the wrong
