Notes About The Poem

I was inspired

The Afterwards Breeze

A cyclone and a whirlwind,
        a twister of a typhoon;
        capricious, turbulent,
        winds mighty and destructive.

          After, a calming cool
    ensuing gentle breeze,
now softly blowing on your skin;
easing the weary mind and
soothing the perplexed soul.

    Time now brings all things restored.
    God's faithful abatement covenant,
           seen while feeling the afterwards breeze.
