That's What Love Is
THAT'S WHAT LOVE IS
They say things of you unpleasant, I don’t hear
You raise your voice, create life’s cacophony
I’m happy offering you my deaf ear
That’s what love is for me.
You’ve countless complaints, I don’t refute
Your demands are unfair, I silently agree
I’m more than content being mute
That’s what love is for me.
Even if all the time to me you’re rudely unkind
Ground by wrinkles your smile I don’t see
I’m euphoric at heart being blind
That’s what love is for me.
Love is an emotion of diamond sheen
Flashes on mundane life, perceived within.
