That's Right

I can't help the way I feel We're not practical that's the deal But I'm not thinking what makes sense Just read your lines, so intense That's right.. You're just a name that's all I got Future prospects, probably not Odds of love don't look good to me I don't care you're all I see That's right ~Lyric Man Note: A fun, short write about the internal give and take play on the long odds of finding love on the Soup .. even if you're completely infatuated with someone (or their words at least).

Dear Chance Summer: You are definitely a Blast from our PoetrySoup past some years ago. I have a hunch that we came on-board around the same time. How have you been? I've been thinking a fair bit about you and why you left those years ago! Aha! I suspect you "Lyric Man" in your way with words in a sing-song kinda way. Tell me that I figured this out right? Lovely lyrics my Friend, once again. All my best, Leon.

Thank you, Nette. I think with lyrics .. the "secret" is making the many feel like "the one"

Fun poem Chance, In the 4 years I've been a member I've only known of one couple falling in love on soup and marrying. They were very blessed to meet eachother but sadly on the web there are trolls and we never know who is really behind the keyboard and have to be wary of falling for someone's sweet words - after all we are all poets:-) hugs Jan xx

Yes! But poets tend to be dreamers too. So fantasy is often times teasing reality. That tension tends to breed some exceptional lyrics. To the point where even the writer can get pulled in :)
