That Was Then This Is Now
Always high on adrenalin
Dancing to music in my head
Sexy and vivacious
Lust for life through youthful days
That was then and this is now
Disappointments through the years
Disillusioned once too many
Filling me with doubts
Questioning my place
In this fast paced world
Where do I fit in
Letting bullies dictate
How high to set my sights
What dreams not to dream
Feeling I deserve less than others
That I don’t stand a chance in hell
Well that was then this is now
The damage is done
I have a lot to say
And now I will be heard
