That Pretty Rainbow
That pretty rainbow with an orange glow
hangs over the wheat field by stooping low;
it waited almost all day to come out and shine,
now, that long and bright arch is simply divine!
Stand beneath it and admire the amazing design of God's hands
with all its vivid colors that enhance Nature
and glorify it while happy songs, rising from the azure bay,
are heard along roads and paths; ever wonder
why they are sung with such idyllic words that are so intense?
Ask the sparrow, the hummingbird and the bluejay!
That pretty rainbow can be seen until evening,
then with the coming of shadows...it''ll be vanishing;
cherish it and remember it when rain pours and pelts,
make believe that's always there, where butterflies dance!
