That Night

the swirling brilliance
within the light and darkness
a small town is overcome
with God's lesser light
His creations in the sky
brings hope to a world that's lost
in a dark world
His promises can be seen
in the wind and the night sky.

Beautifully done. God's work is majestic at night just as it is during the day.

Awesome description of Starry Night, Brandee. I remember staring at the picture for a long time when we studied Van Gogh in college. It's an amazing painting filled with "swirling brilliance." Great write! Love, Carolyn
