Thanksgiving Day will soon be here-
our time for family and cheer!
All at our table say a prayer-
then yummy turkey feast we share!
Soon comes the apple pie when done-
with other choices to choose from!
There's pumpkin pie and gingerbread-
I could choose one of those instead.
We all say thank you for this day-
for such good food and time to play!
From early morning to bedtime-
Thanksgiving Day's a happy time!
