Praise-filled thankfulness…
my soul* expresses such with earnestness
to God, my Redeemer along His graciousness
for His salvation and redemption’s blissfulness
midst His love’s bountifulness
upon His faithfulness
beautifying His greatness
against my weakness.
With my soul's sincere gratefulness
despite iniquities and sinfulness
I praise* Christ the Lord of verity-truthfulness
Who upholds me toward faith’s steadfastness
fortifying my stewardship’s fruitfulness
guarding commitment from slothfulness
for me to please and love my Saviour of merciful kindness
exalting* His name radiating His glory's brightness.
* Psalm 146:1 Praise ye the LORD. Praise the LORD, O my soul.
