Thank You Lord
Just sitting out in our quiet garden,
Basking in the warmth of the sun,
Then this poem simply just begun.
I listened to the birds ,
How delightful they sing.
I thank you Lord,
For everything.
I await the coolness of night,
The stars in the heavens ever so bright.
Then the golden glow of the coming dawn,
Another day breaks as I awake and yawn.
Once again I hear the birds, how they sing.
Once again , I thank you Lord.
For everything.
