Thank the Googad

Once more the stroons, were leafing on the floor Copper coloured etchyfronds the type that we adore And stacketh high as bi-rutaths, more and more and more The stroonish etchyfronds, began to block the door Thank Gantrisill and Ebblewabe the googad is still here See it gathering etchyfronds, from far as well as near Again the door is open, we cheer and cheer and cheer As the googad broodlings nestle, in their frondy mess so ***** We have to ask the question, is poor Ebblewabe a loon To let old Gantrisill, inside to grow a stroon Where etchyfronds gather as they're strewn and strewn and strewn And the bi-rutaths can't eat them, from outside on the moon

Can't let this one go. I'm still sitting here. Have read it several times. Like it more and more. Ya, hog-tied me! bi-rutaths... stars? Etchyfronds remind me of what we used to call "helicopters' in grade school, those maple seeds that twirl and whirl when they fall, oh how we'd gather them. Okay, now I'm going, and you probably think I'm very weird. :-) Ha, you'd be right. Cyndi Man, I'm so glad I read this. Though it will give me Jaberwocky dreams!

Nick, is this a tribute to Carroll? All mimsy were the borogoves?? Cool, love it. Those cherubic broodlings do love to jump into a pile of autumn stroons, don't they, and send them leafing everywhere? CHARMING!

A really interesting write my friend. Love the way you did this. This smacks greatly of another quite famous poem we read once in school by a famous poet. I'm sure you know who I mean. His name slips my mind right now but this is really good. God Bless, JB

Thank you for your kind prompt..it was such a silly slip..the last line and the 4th and 5th stand changed..with such limited space for changes as in a Haiku, i would have run into a real problem..somehow i think i could make it this time, thank God..dont know if there is any other error..well, about this piece of yours, overall it has a grand and attractive style about it, but many of your words are beyond me..thnx, jag
