The Tahitian language is quite beautiful, warm and friendly. I chose a few phrases within this poem that follows or preceded the translation to English.

Warm is the journey's end where tepid spirits play On beaches of smiling sand and azure sun drenched shore Birds circle the westerly winds from the lands so far away To the isle that "te tia nei anae", stands alone forever evermore Joy filled voices abound with singing and laughter each day For the simple life teems and flows with the fruits of kindness Compelling the castaway with lost gratitude to say... Live! "I Ora Na" and lift the veil of their downhearted blindness She bathes us with an ocean deeply jubilant holding its treasure of peace While the winds whisper the vespers "A tia noa mai" Please stay! Embrace and behold this beauteous sun spirit that never will cease Be anchored in my crystal sea paradise circled in my scented lei Birds circle the westerly winds from the lands so far away Warm is the journey's end where tepid spirits play
