"Grief must not be stifled; it must
have tears, an outlet, a sigh, words."
by _Constance
______________
I came today
to visit the cemetery
the trees are bleak against a somber sky
the rows of headstones grim
it feels oppressive, desolate and dismal
no birds songs drift, no squirrels playfully scamper
my last visit . . .
before snow falls upon her stone and my heart hurts
