Temporal Tides
Oh my cursed child, out there you are exiled
Only the wind to embrace your sorrow
Seek shelter within that soul of yours
Before there is no tomorrow
These webs you weave are not to be believed
Dig deeper now and you will see
That you have ventured off too far
And hurry back home to me
One day you will feel my warmth on your skin
Enjoy again the summer's sweet folly
Know another side of your heart
So you may set your mind free
You are not an island and I am not the sea
There is no lighthouse to guide you
Only you can release old night
Remind the morning sky it’s due
