This saying is simply divine “You shouldn’t cast pearls before swine” Some think they are cool Then break ev’ry rule Folk cheating are no friends of mine! 'Porkie Pies' is cockney rhyming slang for lies 11-02-17

Oh the poems that result from our conversations, JAN! This one is as pink with perfection as that little oinker. I think the pearls cast before her were accepted, and she wears them beautifully.

LOL LLin, the saying took me back to when I was a nanny in London and the housekeeper of the lady next door had a little pig with a pearl necklace on it which had been given to her by a cheating ex - I'd never heard the saying before and when you mailed me I was inspired to write this and find a cute pic to go with it:-) hugs jan xx
