Tell Me You Miss Me
An emptiness envelops my whole world
while a deluge of tears threatens to start.
And as we drift apart in rough waters,
a river of sadness flows through my heart.
With every molecule of my being
I long for the gentleness of your touch.
And I've cried every night since you left me,
it's hard to believe my heart hurts so much.
I'm in a quagmire of loss and despair,
abandoned to the fickle whims of fate.
And I will give you all my tomorrows
if you return today, it's not too late.
Tell me you miss me; don't let our love die,
and we will start over, or at least try.
