Technology
In our technological culture corps
weapons with devastating power soar
along the threshold of space, unseen. Zooms
at once cross oceans with a mighty roar.
Hide in pockets in unguarded classrooms,
with windows barred and chains upon the door.
Computers with limitless solutions,
spoil seven year old tax deductions.
Enough food to feed the populations,
of this world, stand wasting on grocery shelves.
The starving, who will fill their little graves,
never had enough to fill their bellies.
