Tears of a Child

I’m hungry, oh so hungry for your words I am waiting … my mouth is open wanting to be fed Yet you spoon feed me One S N I P P E T Of Information At A Time Please don’t treat me like a child DON'T wrap me up in cotton wool to protect me I can cope better if I know ALL the truth For now I’m simply crying like a baby Jan Allison 26th October 2014

Some people can't take the truth but I believe if someone longs to know they should be told everything so they can cope with it their way. I read your longings in this poem.

sometimes saying the right words are not that some [like me] opt to think for sometime before am all ready to speak myself out... as i take into consideration: first: i don't want to hurt; second: I don't like to worsen a situation... but there are times: most specific times that words are necessary to be said...... words are words but somehow they are like two double edge swords..... and I agree to Carolyn as actions are said to speak louder than words but sometimes this not true....

Dear Jan, writers know how to communicate. This isn't always true for others and lack of communication leads to misperceptions, even paranoia. I'd rather know all the truth as well, but some people erect fences around their hearts. I share the feelings you articulate so clearly in this poem! Love, Carolyn
