Team Work
While exiting the sanctuary, I commended her for such a fine job of coordinating the Christmas Service. Our Jr. High Pastor's reply
to me landed deep into my heart when she said, "We are a team".
If it be so that this is the season that we are indeed in the age of the end, it stands to reason as well that the people of God must be discerning and fully armored, not with weapons of carnal warfare but with the full armory of the power of God. Much of that power is manifested via team work.
Teams, not rock stars, win championships.
Jesus was not a rock star, but if he had been a rock star, the church he built would have faded before it was fully launched. Rather, Jesus built a team and turned it over to The Holy Spirit. Beyond jet propulsion speed, as a team, the Church ignited the world, and the rest is history.
