Tea Party
Steam
rises
in billows
from the kettle
and as the teapot
whistles, I pour water
over the Earl Grey tea bags
into mother's porcelain cups.
Do you prefer a squeeze of lemon?
Or milk and sugar? Here! Have a cookie!!
