task master
"you enslaved me sum of more than 300
three-hundred years
I love you
I love you I must
shipped me over in crowd ships, boats
chained me to my peers and host
yet...
I
I love you, I love you I must
Took away my true name
my heritage, my claims
yet...
I
I love you, I love you I must
pillaged, raped and beat me
totally mistreated me
stripped me from my royal robes
told me I was
less than an animal
yet
I
I love you, I love you I must
told me God so ordered this
refused to allow me to read English
yet
yet I, I
I love you, I love you I must
I bleed the color you do
from out of the ground we both came through
let I was the one you stole
from a land of Africa
told me I had NO soul
told me I was less than an animal
toll and work
I slave
lived and died a horrid ways...
Yet I
yet I, I
I love you, I love you I must
Now you whom are yet still enslaved in you demon...
Prejudice
Remember this...
if the color of dirt yet remains all the same
and if the blood yet still runs red, the same
if we denounce Christ Jesus and God reign
What is there left
every
every
every
EVERY
KNEE
SHALL
BOW
AND EVERY TONGUE SHALL CONFESS
THAT JESUS IS LORD
i trust that I must forgive each and everyone
past, present and future tense Yet I
yet I, I
I love you, I love you I must
So just encase
there's no doubt in my heart you see
there's no prejudice in Hell
everything burning eternally there
even with all this, yet this I must forgive and love you my
former 'Taskmaster'?"
