Tale of An Old Man

And I tell you now it knows where we all live, And we all do our best to keep our souls clean. I tell you now that our lives go by in the fastest way, We'll all have kisses on our collars And unlaced shoes to mark the ground as we tread upon it slightly, Ever so loving then the last, I assure you of the stars themselves only we could have given a damn. And I'll tell you now, but then leave, She was my daughter, I do so wholly believe. These last breaths one could take, She was fully alive and when the wind blew she had Decided to play with the wind, too. And sometimes the stars nor man won't give a damn, Could they ever care for a being like I can? It might take some time to understand but know that This is a tale of an Old, old man.
