Take Sum Doses

If I could I'd take a million doses of happy Cause happy is so hard to achieve If I could put that chemistry in a pill and shake it up till it succeeded in working than I would become an addict I would slave and prostitute Just to have me sum doses of the pill that will wipe away all sadness What if there was such a pill? Take a glimpse into our future I predict disaster I see someone tryna bottle utopia I see someone tryna cure cancer All in the hopes that one day we as people could live better But every good deed turns sour I see people killing just to obtain that power just a couple of doses away from pure bliss This may sound ironic But I don't think we as human beings could handle this new kind of chronic For a bottle of happiness She'd give her son's life He'd give his daughters virginity Just for one taste Of something he can hardly remember my concoction mixed with human emotion will cause the earth's destruction
