Take one step

Take one step today;
Try moving forward;
Do one thing today;
It will make you feel rewarded.
Just one step,
In the right direction,
Can help you prosper;
Focus your attention.
It may seem trite;
Small victories celebrated;
But as long as we're trying,
It's our spirit we're elevating.
So don't give up;
Keep on trying now;
Do one thing today -
A step of defiance.
