Rain has become synonymous with gray signifying a storm is on its way. A skittish sun silently shrinks away allowing shadows to overcome day and clouds to release droplets straightaway. So true...some people dislike those "grey" days but I love them because it means I get to stay inside quietly writing or just listening to the rain on the roof while it lulls me to sleep. Nice little piece, Emile. Congrats on your placement in the contest too.
