Swishing Leaves

Leaves fell like confetti, upon an autumn bride Swirling in their multitudes, across the countryside. Along the path I walked they lay, some were ankle deep I took such childish pleasure, as I swished them with my feet. The wind was fairly blowing, branches nearly bare I pulled my collar around my ears, a chill was in the air.

Oh what a beautifully delightful poem Gary that reminds me of the childhood pleasure of purposefully swishing through piles of leaves on my way home from school with my friend. We could never resist! Well done! :)
