Swept Away

~ On the veranda, a beautiful day Blue skies above us, the wind in our hair Sipping a drink of a tropical blend Palm trees are swaying, this moment we share Lost in your loveliness, perfect and free The touch of your hand brings the softest of sighs Hibiscus blooms in a rainbow array Finding my dream as I gaze in your eyes Sharing a meal between candle light flame Melodies float to the beat of your heart Longing your lips in a silent confession Paradise found is the right place to start A stroll on the beach as the waves gently roll Softly the sand leads our footsteps astray Watching the sun as it sets the horizon Love fills the air as we’re now swept away ~
