Sweet Silence

I dance in the darkness and I cannot see But, I can feel your loving arms around me Holding me with every step that we take Almost breathless vows in the love we make There are no fears, chiming with midnight Only comfort and strength with light in sight You calmly waltzed into my world, years ago I will never forget the convictions I know You will always have a place in my heart As you have with first spoken words in the start And as we dance through another bright day, Sweet silence replaces these words I say Heidi Sands 10/31/19

You know a rhyming poem is good when the reader doesn't realize it is rhyming until the end when they look up and see the form you have chosen. That is what just happened to me, I was so lost in your words I didn't even realize it was rhyming. That is how smooth this poem was my friend. Really nice Heidi.
