This very thought provoking & insightful poem touched my heart Christy; no one, let alone your sweet child, should have to endure bullying of any kind! I'm sure having a wonderful Mom like you she will pull through and be a stronger person for it~God bless you both~Che

You know Christy, this breaks my heart, to think that any child, let alone your beautiful daughter is being bullied at school. I know it happens, I know all too well but it truly saddens me each and every time I hear about it. Keep telling her you love her, wrap her tight in your arms and let her know how perfect she is. Your poem was beautiful, sad and touched me deeply.

Thank you, Chris, for your kind comment. You're right, no child should experience that. I went through it in school so I know how deeply it can scar. I've seen a lot of poems on here from depressed teens/tweens. I hope to use poetry to give them some hope.
