Susan and the Prince
"To be sung to the tune of, A Tale As Old
As Time, from Beauty and the Beast "
Susan and the prince,
we should never be;
but I think of you,
and your eyes of blue;
you make me feel free !
Feel you holding me,
when I close my eyes;
waking up with tears,
and I whisper prayers;
for love never dies !
I am just a girl,
and you are a prince;
its not possible,
just impossible;
with that thought I wince !
A story of love,
a chance encounter;
left us both breathless,
but sadly pathless;
yet, love did enter !
You are standing here,
oh, can it be true;
and our hearts soar,
you opened the door;
and within love flew !
A story of love,
that is forever;
Susan and the prince !
