Surrender
I tread the path shown by my Lord,
when in unkind world I’m abhorred,
confused, I don’t know what to do.
Oh, God I surrender to You.
Loss of mother is a great blow,
I’m in the debris of sorrow,
don’t know how and when I’ll get through.
Oh, God I surrender to You.
On my way out your dreams I broke,
I saw tears your supple cheeks soak,
my leaden heart laden with rue.
Oh, God I surrender to You.
I’ve chased the mirage all the way,
in delusion drifted away.
Pray help me live my life anew.
Oh, God I surrender to You.
