Long, the shadows with morning dew Herringbone clouds like gossamer lace Airbrushed above on the blazing blue Blooming as morn on your angel face Sunrise enchanter with skin, unleaven Tenderly daubed with a kiss ... of heaven. ~ 1st Place ~ in the "When Line Six Is A Perfect Fix" Poetry Contest, Silent One, Sponsor. ~ 3rd Place ~ in the "Late June 2018 Standard" Poetry Contest, Brian Strand, Sponsor.

What did I tell you? Hey, another winner -- as predicted … As long as the government goons don't accuse you of 'double dipping.' (Just kidding). … At any rate, thank you also for returning to the 'seraph' to poetic parlance. Haven't seen the term much since John Milton passed, back when I was knee high to a cherub, and Beelzebub and I were ditching school together. (I reformed somewhat). .. Best always, Gershon

Thank you again, my friend, I am unworthy of your praise, I fear, but I keep striving! Yeah, I ditched some school in my day as well, (and far worse, unfortunately), but miracle-of-miracles, I am still here, and I shouldn't be ... for a purpose, I believe. Wisdom? Muse? Example? Maybe a bit of each, but I am nonetheless grateful for each subsequent breath! Blessings! :-)

Wow Greg...you do it again, the last couplet for me is stunning writing, enchanter, unleaven, daubed...words rarely seen but perfectly utilized, in this metaphysical write!

'...skin unleaven...' such an intriguing phrase and enigmatic image, certainly befitting of a seraph. Congrats on your placement in this contest, and here's to another winner in the '6th line' contest as well. Best always, Gershon
