Sunrise and Storms

Sunrise and Storms Satan appeared in a disguise While waiting for the sun to rise He whispered words of my demise What wicked plan will he devise? The demons laughter I despise As darkness covered up the skies Twisters formed and spun clockwise This evil storm was a surprise. For heaven’s help they will chastise I prayed to stop the devil’s lies To challenge God would be unwise The Holy Ghost helped me arise. The storm dispersed on His advise A rescue came from trusting eyes My muse and God became allies As I waited for my sunrise.
