Sunflowers In Honor of the Ukraine

I am sure most of the people in Ukraine are astounded. Uprooted from their homes, separated from their families. We need to flood social media with sunflower photos. She is their national flower and may help to give them hope. I know if I was a refugee, I would appreciate seeing sunflowers. A reminder that things will get better. A reminder of better days. Sad to see six hundred thousand women and children uprooted while their husbands and sons fight a maniacal tyrant bully.

A lovely verse. The Ukrainian People would be uplifted and encouraged by seeing sunflower pictures everywhere.

Caren, this is a really fine poem. The message is clear; the purpose admirable, and I think it should be published more widely. It would be a superb editorial in your local paper! Perhaps it would be picked up for wider distribution. I like it, obviously.
