Sunflower
S Slowly the seed shell cracked open its rays
U Under the spell of moonlight and gravity
N Naked the germ fell next to pigment brushed
F For eternity onto a canvas’ splashed imagination
L Lay low for a while and gathered momentum
O Onto this fabric I shall imprint vision and hope
W Will make a difference and transplant my story
E Ends are beginnings of Starry Nights and the sun
R Reluctantly Van Gogh had two ears after all
