SunDay VoteSaving Time

I asked my conservatively dressed Sabbath Teacher,
Who do you think Jesus would vote for?

As was her way
even today
she had her querulous say,
What would Jesus do?

He would ask,
and so could all of you,

Is this a loving
kind thing
to do
or not do?

Is this a loving
caring relationship
to continue,
to widen
and deepen,
to feed health,
to succeed safe
natural beauty
EarthCommon Creation
wealth?

I was nearly asleep
by the time she sing-songed her democratic
faith-based dance
through the litany
of Jesus begat HealthyLove
MeSelf as WeNeighbor
when she delivered that last
politically curious line.

What would Jesus do
or not do
to feed and succeed safe
natural
beautiful
and truly resilient EarthCreation Wealth?

How would Jesus vote
or not vote
to feed and breed
neurosystemically resonant
resiliently sacred
peace communion wealth?
Might be how my NeuroPsychology Preacher
would LeftBrain think to ask

How will each bipartisan win/win candidate
vote
or not vote,
act
or not act,
speak
or stay silent,
to feed and win/win succeed
neurosystemically healthy,
cooperative neuro-diverse wealthy,
compassionate verbal
and nonverbal
HolySpirited CommunioNation?

Is this a loving
caring
kind vote
for healthy relationships
to grow enlightened
and co-empowering?
To continue to feed
Truth-passion/Beauty-pleasure
Left/Right
bipartisan political intelligence

Which is maybe
what my tireless Sabbath Teacher
was hoping to feed and breed
on that last class
before transparently vulnerable selection

To widen sacred EarthTribe's
safe ecological
natural beauty
enlightened CommonWealth,
and deepen
neurosystemically empowering
WholySpirited health

Well sung
and wellness danced,
democratic mind-wealth enlightened
and conservative body-health empowered,
left and win/win right
into my Jesus-informed
trauma-free speech voting booth.

One will be chosen, yet one day Jesus will be King of all. The holy scriptures will still be there to remind us to love God and our neighbors. Each individual we come across…do we make their lives better for meeting us. Occasionally we need to be bold or scold, but let’s remember to live by the fruit of the Spirit. God bless you, Gerald!
