Sun fades from autumn skies with rainbow light
Then the gloaming will darken skies with night.
Roosting birds return to boughs, a grand sight,
As twilight shadows captures them in flight
When the pale moon tests our will and our might
While rising slowly to her lofty height,
Causing lovers to kiss, or foes to fight.
Enchanted moon will soon fade in soft light
As the sunrise again conquers the night.
