SUN DAY

     A
Sun Day
Beautiful
     A Pick Me Up
     I Sip On My Cup

     Suddenly Clouds Appear
Rain Splashes Like Spit On Glass
HailThundersAndHitsTheEarthHard

I Cower
     At This Sudden Display
          My Thoughts Dampened By Catastrophe

my coffee cup tReMbLeS upon table
brown and creamy waves
           lap over the edge

asuddenchill
     IMNOTALONE!
        a flurry of silver
             angels wings like birds

Am I In The Center ofthestorm centrifugal force
shoves me to the side like an amusement park ride i come crashing down my hand pushes against my cup sPiLLinG the remainder of its contents onto a pure white page
I laugh my imagination sure took a spin i gaze out the glass at the gathering clouds the alarm goes off did i oversleep the wind picks up speed w i l l t h i s NIGHTMARE NEVER END my pen feverish red ink sleep i n e e d s l ee p 8/23/2017

What was in that cup Kim? Wow! Crazy day. And "spit on the glass" ? You pulled out a lot of stops for this organ solo. You are an amazing writer! What an imagination!
