Great one for the contest, Sara, congratulations on your win. The warn sand with cool breeze embrace a round, sitting on a blanket looking out towards the ocean at the ships and fishing boats as seagull hover to get a bite. Great imagery for writing. Hugs Eve

Eve, I thought about the sitting on a blanket and thought who would get me up??? LOL..Senior physiology ...LOL..I would definitely have to have a chair of some kind. I do enjoy all those things about the beach though. Last time we went I looked at it from the sliding glass window or the balcony. Thanks for stopping by with congrats, Sara

Harry, Yes, I corrected my mistake so the mistake is no longer there. Just an error in not checking my work for one more time. Not really familiar with this form. I guess I need to write several more to familiarize myself with it but the number of syllables per line would have to be looked up each time. Your presence at my page is uplifting. Sara

Sara, Thanks for participating in my contest. All good with your Minichu except the alignment of rhyme of middle line of the third stanza with first two. Still, congrats for your placement in my contest. Best. Mohan

Thanks for dropping back by. I don't expect you to change my place. I like that you told me what was wrong so that I could make a change. Sara

Now it reads fine. I wish I could revise your placement. Anyway, there will be more opportunities. Hope keeping fine in the new year. Warm regards, Mohan

Mohan, Your dropping by to tell me I placed is appreciated. I guess that I forgot to rhyme that line..Senior Moments happening more often. I will have to try to write another one and see what happens. Sara..I corrected that line so it will read better and be correct just in case someone looks at it to write one.

Anitha, I have gone off without it and I would have to find a piece of paper or a napkin or something to write down a thought or idea for a poem. Your presence at my page is uplifting. Sara

love that word drawl. Excellent choice for the last word! Why not say Birds call, so then it will be a perfect rhyme!

call and drawl are both two-syllable words. But calls does not exactly rhyme with drawls because of the S.

Andrea, I think it is suppose to be only one syllable. I may have it wrong. LOL..Thanks for dropping by. Sara
