Notes About The Poem

Traveling west towards the Rockies is a long westbound car ride though the prairies with not many distractions and then suddenly... the Rockies reveal themselves over the horizon. Everyone can't help but react with awe.

Summer Trip

summer trip out west
moment rockies lift their heads
~ jaws drop in tandem

Yes I remember the summer I worked in Montana - the mountains are majestic and awesome!
