Summer Time
SUMMER TIME
Summer time and, living is lemon squeezy
Feet up enjoying my life it’s so easy peesy
My Daddy broke his back earning his living
My mother’s looks nature was unforgiving
I spent all my time, wailing in the backyard
As nobody answered, I am now so scarred
Left home at 15 &, whored myself around
Ended up state, on more common ground
Got in with a rich man who had the dollars
Up there now with the rest of the scholars
Daddy cries my daughter isn’t coming back
To this misery life she could no longer hack
My Mammy wails and, looks up to the skies
While fish are jumping to see why she cries
“Yus”
Summer time and, living is lemon squeezy
Feet up enjoying my life it’s so easy peesy
